Introducing

Foundation

Private, on-device intelligence for the Autonomous Era.

It doesn't just answer. It works.

Ask it anything, then ask it to go do something about it. Foundation researches, writes documents, runs several agents at once on a hard problem, and uses your computer the way you do.

The difference is where all of that happens. The work runs on the device in front of you, on your own processor. Not on a rented server that has to be shown your files, your screen, and your calendar in order to help.

The Autonomous Era

Something is changing in how work gets done.

For the first time, you can tell software what you want instead of how to do it. It reads, decides, drafts, checks its own work, and hands you the finished thing. Not a tool you operate. Something closer to help.

What that opens up is hard to overstate. The hours that disappear into the parts nobody enjoys come back to you. One person can do the work of ten. Expertise stops being something you have to be able to afford.

This era is arriving quickly, and it is going to be extraordinary.

Foundation exists to make sure it belongs to you.

Foundation is different

It's built to work, to answer, to move forward. Foundation isn't meant to be a friend, a chat partner, or a life coach. It's meant to be useful, and then get out of your way.

It runs on your device

Not in a data center. Not on a server rented by the hour. On the Mac, iPhone, or Android device you already own and already trust.

It works with no signal

On a plane, on the subway, in another country with the data roaming off. Foundation still answers, still drafts, still thinks. The only things you lose are the ones that never lived on your device anyway, like a web search or today's forecast.

It doesn't want anything from you

No account to create. No email to hand over. No profile being built in the background, because there is no background and no one there to build it.

You pay for it once

Foundation is $49. That's the whole transaction. No subscription, no credits, no bill that grows the more you rely on it — and no reason for anyone to go looking for another way to make money from you.

Your hardware, your data.

Foundation allows you to run local intelligence on your own device — no need for a data center, internet connection, or usage credits.

Your conversations, the documents it writes, and everything it sees while working are stored on your device and nowhere else. Delete the app and they're gone. There's no copy on a server, no backup in someone else's account, no export request to file.

This isn't a policy we're asking you to trust. It's a consequence of how the app is built. The intelligence is already on your device, so there's no reason to send your conversation anywhere to get an answer.
